Narvik Chef – ready to create memorable dining experiences in Narvik? Narvikfjellet is entering some of the most exciting years in its history. As part of this development, we are expanding the dining experiences at Basecamp and Fjellheisrestauranten, with a new restaurant at Basecamp also on the way. Our guests can look forward to a variety of food and drink experiences: something quick and tasty between runs on the slopes, a warming meal to share, a refreshing drink – and fine dining in spectacular surroundings. The concepts vary, but our ambition is the same: locally sourced ingredients, high quality and dining experiences that make every visit even better. We are building a new kitchen team from the ground up and are looking for chefs who want to be part of it from the start. Together, you will help develop the menus and shape the food concepts across our restaurants and dining venues – from simple dishes prepared consistently well to exceptional meals that let the ingredients shine. Your key responsibilities • Prepare and present food to a consistently high standard • Prepare and organise your work to keep kitchen operations run smoothly • Handle ingredients with care and help reduce food waste • Work closely with colleagues in the kitchen and restaurant • Share ideas and contribute to developing our menus Who are we looking for? You have experience in a professional kitchen, enjoy your craft and take pride in the food you serve. You will join a kitchen team where good preparation, professional standards and teamwork help us deliver consistent quality to our guests. A formal qualification as a chef is an advantage, but we also value practical skills and relevant experience. Be part of Narvikfjellet’s next chapter There is plenty ahead for Narvik as we prepare for the 2029 Alpine World Ski Championships. The championships are an important milestone, and our ambition is to create a destination that guests want to visit throughout the year. You will help shape our dining experiences as we grow. As part of Norway’s best group, you will also join a wider community of hospitality professionals, with colleagues across several destinations. Ready to join us? Send us your application – we look forward to hearing from you! We also have other vacancies in food and beverage – visit our career pages to explore more opportunities.
