ABOUT FACTORY Our mission is to create a world where software builds and improves itself. We build the platform for self-improving software development, helping the world's largest enterprise engineering teams turn their organizations into autonomous software factories. Customers including Nvidia, Blackstone, Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), Palo Alto Networks, Adobe, and T-Mobile run Factory to ship code, review PRs, run tests, and deploy continuously - getting smarter with every cycle. In 2026, we raised $200M at a $5B valuation, bringing our total funding to over $400M. We are backed by world-class investors and operators including Khosla Ventures, Sequoia, Blackstone, Ali Ghodsi (CEO of Databricks), and Frank Slootman (Former CEO of Snowflake). ABOUT THE ROLE Factory is looking for a Member of Deployed Staff, Applied AI! Our customers share our conviction that the future of engineering organizations is agent-native, and that the way they build software is about to change fundamentally. Applied AI turns that conviction into reality. You own the post-sales journey for our most strategic accounts and lead their transformation. You learn and understand how they build software today, map where Factory fits across their software development lifecycle, and drive the product adoption that makes the organization both a power user of Factory and a stronger engineering organization. You weight what the customer needs, what their engineers care about, what the product can do and where the impact is greatest, and then you make it happen. The Applied AI team is made up of doers. We immerse ourselves in our customers' most intricate workflows, partner with their teams, dig into the data, and learn the product landscape so Factory can scale. You'll operate like a technical product manager pointed at the customer: organized, analytical and relentless about driving each deployment to an outcome. You'll help build the playbook, influence the roadmap, and define what success looks like for enterprise engineering teams. WHAT YOU WILL DO AND ACHIEVE - Own the technical relationship and customer outcomes for your accounts from the moment a deal closes. You'll partner with the Account Executive and Solutions Engineer who landed them. - Learn how each customer builds software, find their biggest sources of friction, and design a deployment plan that turns them into a software factory. - Translate AI use cases across the software development lifecycle into clear product requirements, deployment plans and measurable results. - Get customers live quickly, then drive sustained adoption and consumption growth. - Work with executives and individual engineers to find creative, high-leverage ways to ramp usage. - Build repeatable playbooks and automate the operational work. Monitor consumption and step in early when usage dips or blockers arise. - Relay findings to our Engineering and Product teams to turn what you see in the field into native Factory capabilities. - Spend time on-site with customers, typically about once a month and mostly within your region. QUALIFICATIONS - High agency. You take open-ended problems in unstructured environments and drive them to a result, whatever it takes. - A strong technical foundation in the software development lifecycle and systems design. You reason fluently about how enterprises build and ship software. - A track record of owning delivery end to end. - A product manager's mindset: organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and able to rally engineers and stakeholders toward a solution. Backgrounds that map well include technical product management at an engineering-led company, solutions architecture, technical consulting, or engineering experience paired with a genuine pull toward customers. - Sharp product intuition and real user empathy, with the credibility to work closely with engineers both at the customer and across our Product and Engineering teams. - A builder mindset. You're excited to help build the function, not just fill a seat. You're comfortable with ambiguity, and you move fast. - Deep expertise in an industry such as financial services, healthcare or the public sector is a plus. We hire both generalists and specialists. - Experience in a high-growth startup where roles are fluid and ownership is high is desirable This is an in-office position (5 days/week) in San Francisco, New York, London or Washington, DC
