Job Advert: Production Operative Location: Letchworth Garden City Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm Job Type: Full-time About the Role We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Production Operative to join a friendly team of ten people in a busy production environment in Letchworth. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and piecing together electrical equipment, following instructions and ensuring that products are completed to a high standard. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and working as part of a team. Key Responsibilities • Assembling and piecing together electrical equipment and components. • Following production instructions and procedures accurately. • Ensuring products meet quality standards. • Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working area. • Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet production targets. • Following all relevant health and safety procedures. Requirements About You • A practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail. • Able to follow instructions and work accurately. • A reliable and punctual team player. • Willingness to learn new skills and develop within the role. • An interest in electrical equipment or assembly work would be beneficial. • A science qualification at school would be advantageous, although this is not essential. Previous production or assembly experience would be useful, but candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
