The Role: The Data Science team at XM is seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer with a strong background in data science. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in designing, building, and maintaining data infrastructure and pipelines that support machine learning models and large-scale analytics. The role involves close collaboration with data scientists, data analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure data quality and accessibility, driving data-driven decision-making and implementing AI solutions across the organization. The main responsibilities of the position include: • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for data transformation and preparation. • Prepare datasets for data analysts and data scientists for exploratory data analysis, A/B testing, model training, and validation. • Ensure data quality and consistency across various sources. • Deploy machine learning models and AI tools to production environments. • Collaborate with data scientists to improve data models and support business intelligence tools. • Build and maintain data warehousing solutions. • Enforce data governance and security policies. • Work with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide technical solutions. • Mentor junior data engineers and provide technical guidance.
