Your roleAs Head of Group Function IT Transformation Office, you lead the organisation, people and capabilities within the area. Your mission is to develop a strong, coordinated team that supports transformation and delivery across Group Function IT. The area brings together expertise to enable transformation and implementation of new global services within the area of corporate applications. You will ensure that these capabilities work together to connect business needs, technology choices, delivery quality and measurable outcomes. A key focus will be translating Group Function IT’s strategy into actionable plans and coordinated initiatives and increasing the use of AI and automation. Working closely with service owners and service managers, you will enable effective change delivery and continuous improvement across the unit. As part of the Group Function IT management team, you will work closely with business stakeholders, technology and security teams, and vendors to align priorities, manage dependencies and follow up progress and results. While the preferred locations are listed above, alternative locations may be possible In this role, you will • Lead, develop and engage employees within the area, building strong specialist capabilities and cross-functional collaboration • Lead the development and execution of Group Function IT’s strategy, transformation agenda and strategic planning • Lead project management and architecture capabilities to ensure coordinated delivery and alignment with business and technology priorities • Strengthen vendor, performance and portfolio management, using KPIs to drive accountability, value realisation and continuous improvement • Lead adoption of AI and automation to improve efficiency, accelerate transformation and enhance business value • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, vendors and partners Your profile We are looking for an experienced leader with a strong combination of people leadership, business understanding and technology insight. You have a strong background in IT transformation and cross-functional delivery in a complex organisation. You have experience leading teams and delivering results in complex IT environments while driving change and continuous improvement. You are comfortable collaborating with stakeholders across functions. You are a people-oriented leader who creates engagement, develops others and fosters high-performing teams. At the same time, you have a strong delivery focus and a passion for modern technologies and transformation. Key qualifications and experience • Academic degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience • Proven experience leading and developing teams and specialist capabilities in complex IT environments • Experience driving business transformation, strategic planning or commercial improvement initiatives in complex organisations • Strong understanding of project delivery, business analysis, architecture and quality assurance, combined with experience in vendor and performance management • Experience applying AI, automation or modern ways of working to improve delivery and efficiency • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including engagement with senior management • Experience from large, complex and global organisations; experience from the defence industry is considered an advantage • Fluency in both Swedish and English, both written and spoken We recognise that experience and skills can be gained in different ways.
