Shared Services Specialist We are looking for a Shared Services Specialist to support the smooth end-to-end flow of operations within our distribution centre in Almelo. In this entry-level professional role, you will combine reporting, operational coordination, stakeholder communication and problem-solving, working independently within an agreed scope and escalating more complex issues to the First Line Manager or Area Manager. Key responsibilities • Prepare and analyse operational reports and data, monitor performance metrics including On Time In Full and CTD, and provide accurate updates during briefings and meetings. • Support daily release planning across all channels and contribute to the completion of the operational plan. • Manage operational communication and act as a first point of escalation for Shared Services Support, Customer Service and carrier-related issues, investigating root causes and escalating higher-risk matters when required. • Coordinate operational activities including Jobber deals, routing table maintenance, cross-dock connections, sample control and DC Encompass reporting. • Use Salesforce and other operational systems to assess customer and carrier requirements and help balance capacity, service and customer needs. • Create and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions and operational documentation in line with company policies, legal requirements, and health and safety standards. • Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, improve service and reduce costs, including VF waste segregation and control guidelines. • Collaborate with Shared Services, Operations, Logistics, Planning, Purchasing, Customer Service, brands, carriers, customers, drivers and distribution centre leadership. Skills and requirements What we are looking for • A structured and accurate approach, with strong analytical and practical problem-solving skills. • Clear communication, sound judgement and the confidence to challenge constructively. • A customer-focused mindset and the ability to balance service expectations with operational priorities. • The ability to prioritise, manage multiple activities and work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Required • Full business proficiency in English and Dutch, both written and spoken. • Availability to work rotating shifts, weekends and peak periods as required. Nice to have • Previous experience in administration, logistics, warehousing, customer service or another operational environment involving multiple stakeholders. • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, warehouse management systems, Cognos, Salesforce or comparable reporting and operational tools. • Exposure to project management, continuous improvement, or the creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures. Hiring Range: €40,204.80 EUR - €50,256.00 EURannually
