Key Responsibility • Develop scalable, distributed software systems and work on other projects that require research, awareness, interactivity and the ability to ask the right questions • Design, develop, debug, support, maintain and test software applications • Work closely with other teams across a wide breadth of applications and solutions • Assist SME in providing consultation to help ensure new and existing software solutions are developed with insight into industry best practices, strategies, and architectures; and pursue professional growth • Help improve code quality through writing unit tests, automation and performing code reviews • Identify, plan and ensure successful incremental execution of application modernization, re-platform and refactoring efforts • Recognize opportunities for continuous improvement to a technology solution whether it’s optimizing the performance of the system or identifying tech debt • Partner with SRE team to deploy and manage data infrastructure on cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS • Demonstrate strong customer focus and end-to-end ownership of applications, including participation in incident response activities and post-incident reviews when customer-impacting issues occur. • Proactively improve quality through collaboration, automation, process improvement and innovative thinking • Leverage AI-enabled development tools to improve engineering productivity, software quality, development velocity, and operational efficiency. Key Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields • 8+ years of experience managing and deploying commercial software products • Advanced Linux knowledge • Strong understanding of triaging data & performance issues and how to resolve them while demonstrating a strong sense of urgency • Independent thinker able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment • Proven excellence with Java and/or Scala, Python, Spark/PySpark and scripting languages • Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives in parallel • Proven experience managing solutions on GCP or AWS utilizing a broad set of the services available • Proven experience working on large-scale, distributed systems • Show an ownership mindset in everything you do; be a problem solver, be curious and be inspired to take action, be proactive, seek ways to collaborate and connect with people and teams in support of driving success • Demonstrated growth mindset with a commitment to continuous learning, professional development, mentoring, and knowledge sharing. • Demonstrated experience using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude to improve software development, troubleshooting, automation, and engineering productivity. • SDLC-tooling experience with Maven, Github, Jenkins, Terraform
